Test report and technical data Nokia 6090
A branch hit - The Nokia 6090: its reception will never let you down, the Nokia 6090 car phone!!!
Plus of Nokia 6090: ease of use (operating it blindly whilst driving possible), ideal as car phone (terrific reception), nice design
Minus of Nokia 6090: price, weight & size, little memory for SMS & numbers
The Nokia 6090 reminds me of the last mobile phone generation. Back then you could see huge cases disappearing in the trunks of stretch limousines, owned by well dressed businessmen.
But nobody could believe the fact, that half an office fit into such cases.
The Nokia 6090 keeps such memories alive, the Nokia 6090 is a traditional mobile phone that dares a journey in time.
Back to our time now...
Compared to today's mobiles, the Nokia 6090 is NEITHER LIGHT NOR SMALL! Today the Nokia 6090 is equivalent to a part of the jet board of some average student's car, who's just trying to find a parking spot in front of the university.
What might be quite an obstacle for this student is, that only up to five numbers can be stored on the 'missed call' record. That could be quite shitty if more than 5 people try to call you up, you will never know about all those people that tried to call you.
Designed as a car mobile phone, the Nokia 6090 is equipped with a modem, which allows you to send and receive sms, e-mails and faxes...
The Nokia 6090 doesn't only have a great advantage ever since a new law, that prohibits accepting and making phone calls while driving. There's some other stuff worth mentioning: hands free talking system and voice dial are a must for a car phone. However in addition to that, the Nokia 6090 is still equipped with easily accessible buttons to answer incoming phone calls. The reception quality is just perfect with the Nokia 6090, a big, fat plus for the Nokia 6090. The reception quality of the Nokia 6090 is far better than what I've seen with common mobiles until today.
If the Nokia 6090 is configured correctly with the radio system of your car, the sound of the radio will automatically die out once you receive a phone call.
There's even a special anti-theft safety code installed in the Nokia 6090.
The Nokia 6090 is somewhat an exotic product among other mobiles, since it definitely lacks some standard functions. But what the Nokia 6090 does surely feature, are: call divert, calculator, adjustable volume, alarm clock, T9-text input, numerous ringer tones, mailbox, business cards and much more.
You can send text messages containing up to 440 characters. Then again the Nokia 6090 can't save too many messages in its inbox, the limit unfortunately is about 10 messages.
The Nokia 6090 is perfectly suitable for all those people who spend half their life on the road, thus need to manage their life while cruising around. The Nokia 6090 will serve and protect you in that case!
